Daddy My Hero!

The last few days have been so blasted hot...does that cut deep Utahns? So we took Cameryn to the pool on Tuesday and she had such a good time. She had so much fun paddling and kicking and it was so nice to finally cool off. She loves the water! And given my ever expanding body, we plan on being at the pool every day...so plan on seeing more pictures of Cameryn. I will spare you from seeing pictures of the preggo lady in a swimsuit.
The past few days Cam has been saying "daddy my hero"...it is the sweetest thing ever. And I think that Chad loves it! They have the sweetest relationship.

A New Cut and an Updated Bump...

After 2 years of living as poor graduate students, I was finally able to get my hair cut and colored on Friday, and I love it! I am so happy to be rid of my 80's frizz! I am also updating everyone on my ever growing belly...which Cameryn points out to me every day. She says "Cameryn have a little belly, mama have a big belly." I am just glad that she's saying "belly" and not "booty".

Just Like Daddy...

On Saturday morning Cameryn woke up and had to immediately put on a hat since daddy was wearing one. She wore it most of the day and was totally upset when we had to take it off to bathe her that night. She is so funny. Today she wanted to play with her purple plastic hockey stick that daddy bought her (he has a matching green one.) No question who's kid she is huh? She is such a daddy's girl and it is so sweet to watch them together. I couldn't ask for a better father for my girl or a better daughter...they are both such a blessing to me!

A Fun Surprise...

Last week we had a great surprise, when the Matthews family got stranded in Dallas after the whole American Airlines fiasco. We had such a good time entertaining them, if only for one night. And Cameryn was SO happy to wake up and see cousin Peytie...she looked at me and said "So happy, mama." It was sweet. Unfortunately, they had to leave us after just one night, but we are glad that we were able to see them and that they got home safely! We love you guys! And yes, Tif is really talking on two phones in that picture :)

Pink It Is...

I had a sonogram on Wednesday and it is confirmed...it's a GIRL! So bring on some more pink. Chad is totally out numbered but is excited. And I am so happy, especially considering how amazing my sisters are. I can't wait for Cameryn to have a sister :) We'll keep you posted. Perhaps she'll have Cams cute chubby cheeks.
